IN-PERSON COACHING

The truly personalised approach to coaching.

There’s nothing quite like working with a coach face to face. The coach gets to see you climb, analyse your movement and assess your technical strengths and weaknesses whilst taking a deeper look into your psychological approach. You get to interact, ask questions and seek immediate resolution - finding your flaws and how to address them.

In the USA ROAP have partnered with Movement, Earth Treks and Planite Granite to provide you with face-to-face coaching*.

MOVEMENT ANALYSIS AND COACHING

DSC05133.JPG

Alex and Robin have been coaching climbers for almost as long as they have been climbing.

Movement analysis is one of their fortes. Breaking down a climber’s “default” style, identifying bad habits, helping them understand why they may be getting injured and ultimately helping climbers climb harder is fairly simple for both Robin and Alex.

By using video analysis, both coaches will be able to help you see your faults and through the provision of drills, they will have you smoothing out the bad habits in no time.

Robin charges $175 for 90 min session and $230 for 2 hours

Alex charges $195 for 90min session and $260 for 2 hours

TRANING SESSIONS

Do you respond well to being “whipped” into shape? Both coaches have extensive experience working with athletes/teams who need guidance and sessions to help them get into shape/achieve their goals. Be it a multi-pitch, sport climb, boulder or competition, they have you covered.

If you are local to Robin and Alex in Boulder, Co and on a ROAP training plan, they can access sessions from your plan to help you maximise your understanding of the sessions and how best to implement them when you are on your own. $195 for 90 min session

PSYCHOLOGICAL TRAINING

Many climbers overlook this aspect, but arguably it is one of the most important aspects of climbing. Whether it is a fear of falling, a fear of commitment or performance anxiety, Alex and Robin will be able to help. Having fear is normal, natural and to be expected. Understanding it, facing it and addressing it is the only way to be able to harness and control it. Differentiating between rational and irrational fear and dealing with both is something that is essential for success.

This is a very personal aspect and we can cater for you. So if you have any questions, or want to see if we can help with your specific concerns, get in touch. $195 for 90 min session
